Florence Pugh plays an unhappy housewife who questions her sanity when strange things start happening in her community. Harry Styles plays her loving husband who hides a “dark secret.” Chris Pine plays the revered leader of a mysterious cult-like workplace.
Johnson’s character was that of a Pugh neighbor who exhibits “strange and paranoid behavior and tries to warn him that everything in his community is not what it seems.”
ARCHITECTURE IN THE FILM
The architecture in this film plays a very important role.
For example, that all the houses in the neighborhood are practically the same, in which the neighbors lead a very similar life: the woman is a housewife and is dedicated to taking care of it, while the man spends the day working away from home .
CRITICAL OPINION
From my point of view, it creates an image of idealized and orderly life and in which the family has a very “perfect” relationship, which is not real or close to what happens today in our society.
